Jenny
Craig Denies Offering Spokesperson Position to Britney Spears
10/14/05
CARLSBAD, Calif., Oct. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Jenny Craig, Inc. announced
today that it has no plans to replace Kirstie Alley as its Star Client any
time soon, and denies offering Matt LeBlanc and Britney Spears
spokesperson positions. Kirstie Alley remains an integral part of the
Jenny Craig team, and the impact of her success has inspired many other
celebrities and non-celebrities alike to "call Jenny" and join
the program.
"Our business grows stronger every day as a result of Kirstie's
participation in our program, and we are very pleased with her personal
weight-loss achievements," says Patti Larchet, CEO of Jenny Craig.
"Her success demonstrates how, through her commitment, energy and
motivation, Kirstie embodies the core values of Jenny Craig."
Kirstie joined the program in December 2005 and has dropped more than
50 pounds to date on the Jenny YourStyle plan. She credits her success to
the individuality of the program, her consultant, and of course, Jenny's
versions of the chicken fettuccini and chocolate cake.
