Picky Combs Gives Making the Band 3 Judges a Tough Task  10/13/05

The judges on Sean 'Diddy' Combs' reality show Making the Band 3 are under pressure from the rap mogul, after he rejected almost all of the finalists they selected last season.

Combs has enlisted talent manager Johnny Wright, choreographer Laurie Ann Gibson and vocal coach Doc Holiday to sift through a long list of hopefuls for a new all-girl group.

And Wright admits that he and his fellow judges are working their hardest to ensure picky Combs is a lot happier with their choices than he was last season.

He says, "(We're) making sure we step up our game... Diddy even brought in another player this time, Andre Harrell, who gave him his first job in the music business.

"I love that he's a perfectionist and a hard worker. (But) sometimes when you're a part of something, where you seem to be doing all the work, there's a little frustration to it, but it's our challenge as judges to keep up with him.

"He's only going to put his name on something that's the best, so when you present that to the world, it makes us all shine, and you can't be mad about that."
