Harry Potter Star Chooses Acting Over University  10/31/05

The 18-year-old actress who plays Harry Potter's love interest Cho Chang in the latest film Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire has opted to pursue an acting career instead of studying for a degree.

Katie Yeung has chosen not to become a cash-strapped university student, instead embarking on a globe-trotting promotional tour for the forthcoming film.

The young star says, "I'm considering acting as a career in the future but I don't know for definite yet if that's what I'll do.

I can go to university any time, whereas this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and it would be foolish not to take it."
