Sharon Osbourne Hires First Love Onto The X Factor 10/9/06

Rock matriarch Sharon Osbourne has hired her first love to join her on British TV talent show The X Factor.

The feisty judge has asked music boss Adrian Williams to help her choose four finalists for the over-twenty-five category of the singing contest.

Osbourne, wed happily to veteran rocker Ozzy Osbournes, has previously revealed how she lost her virginity to Williams when she was seventeen.

She wrote in her autobiography Extreme, "We began going out when I was seventeen and he's stayed in my life ever since."

Although she was heartbroken when Williams ended their five-year romance by cheating on her with a hairdresser, they've since patched up their differences and Williams even appeared on Osbourne's British chat show last Monday (02OCT06), praising her performance as a TV judge.

A source from The X Factor tells British newspaper The Sun, "We knew it was the same Adrian from Sharon's book.

"They are great friends and have a lot of history and Sharon really respects Adrian's opinion."
