David Bowie Lands SpongeBob SquarePants Role  10/11/06

David Bowie has agreed to voice a character in an upcoming SpongeBob SquarePants special because his daughter is a huge fan of the cartoon.

The 59-year-old rocker - who has dabbled with acting in movies including The Man Who Fell to Earth and Labyrinth - will lend his voice to the Lord Royal Highness character, much to the delight of six-year-old Alexandria.
