Ashton Kutcher: "I Quit Smoking by Smoking" 10/12/06 Celebrity prankster Ashton Kutcher used an unusual method to kick his addiction to cigarettes - he kept on smoking. The Punk'd star read Allen Carr's book The Easy Way to Stop Smoking to inspire him to give up cigarettes for the role of Jake Fischer in new film The Guardian. He told British morning TV show GM.TV, "There's a great book by Allen Carr, The Easy Way To Stop Smoking, and what I loved was that you could smoke while you were reading it."
