Sara Evans Files Again to Stop Husband Withdrawing Cash  10/18/06

Attorneys representing country star Sara Evans have filed an amended complaint in the singer's divorce documents, accusing her estranged husband of removing cash from their joint bank account on the day she started proceedings against him.

Evans' legal team contends Craig Schelske made an unauthorized $274,000 transfer upon learning of his wife's intentions.

After the country star's complaint was filed on Thursday (12OCT06), a Tennessee judge issued a temporary restraining order prohibiting Schelske from threatening Evans, taking their three minor children to Oregon and from viewing pornography in the presence of their children.

A temporary restraining order granted yesterday (16OCT06) further prohibits Schelske from withdrawing money from the couple's joint bank accounts.
