Kanye West: "Pamela Anderson and I Are Just Homies"  10/18/06

Kanye West was thrilled when he was mistakenly linked to busty babe Pamela Anderson last year (05) - and he was in no hurry to quash the rumors.

Anderson, now married to Kid Rock, appeared in the R&B heart-throb's video for single Touch the Sky.

But although the US media were quick to speculate about the pair, West assures MTV News the pair have always just been pals.

He says, "It drove Hollywood crazy to take a legendary sex symbol, the modern-day Marilyn Monroe and the hottest artist and just run with that.

"We're just homies."
