Tanya Tucker Offer to Show Sara Evans a Good Time  10/23/06

Country legend Tanya Tucker has offered to take troubled singer Sara Evans out on a "girl's night" as she battles a messy public divorce.

Tucker, who famously dated Glen Campbell in the 1980s, admits she sympathizes with what Evans is going through after suffering a series of personal setbacks in her own life - and she wants to help the singer.

She says, "I know how hard it is; all the public scrutiny is really tough.

"It's sad that such big news is made from such big heartaches. If she ever needs any girl power, if she ever wants to go out on a girl's night, I'll take you out and show you a good time.

"(We will) hang out with some men that will appreciate you."

Evans quit reality TV show Dancing With the Stars last week (ends13OCT06) after filing for divorce from alleged cheating husband Craig Schelske, who is contesting all claims made against his fidelity."
