Anna Nicole Smith's longtime companion Howard K. Stern is suing an
American journalist for "exploiting" the memory of the late
glamour model.
Stern filed a $60 million lawsuit against Rita Cosby on Tuesday
(02Oct07) over "false allegations" in her new tome Blonde
Ambition: The Untold Story Behind Anna Nicole Smith's Death.
The book claims Stern and Larry Birkhead - the father of Smith's
daughter Dannielynn - were lovers who plotted to get control of the late
star's estate.
Cosby, a former MSNBC correspondent, claims there is a sex tape to
prove the pair were lovers.
But Stern's attorney, L. Lin Wood, has furiously denied the
accusations.
Wood says, "Blonde Ambition purports to be a 'tell-all' book, but
it can only be accurately described as a 'tell-all-lies' book.
"And I am sure Howard and the estate and everyone else involved is
going to sue her, too. This is just nonsense...None of it is true."
Birkhead has denied a sex tape exists and has also threatened to sue.
Smith passed away earlier this year (07).
