Lindsay Lohan backed out of plans to return to Hollywood at the weekend
(06/07Oct07), telling her dad she wasn't ready to head back to Tinseltown
after rehab.
The actress is currently continuing rehab with outpatient treatment
after checking out of the Cirque Lodge in Utah on Friday (05Oct07), but
she's staying close to the facility.
Her father Michael, who is currently taking care of the Mean Girls
star, says, "She said, 'Dad, I don't feel ready to go back to
Hollywood.'"
Lohan's father also reveals that the troubled actress has a sober
companion with her at all times - in a bid to make sure she doesn't return
to her wild ways.
He tells Life & Style magazine, "That's how committed Lindsay
is to her sobriety. She doesn't want to do anything to mess it up. She's
doing so well.
"She's doing whatever she can to keep the right influences around
her."
And when she does return to Hollywood, where she's scheduled to shoot
new scenes for her latest film Dare To Love Me, Lohan will be accompanied
by a sober companion.
Her father says, "Cirque representatives are looking for a place
for her to stay. It will be somewhere safe, where she can continue her
treatment."
