Hollywood actor John Travolta has become the latest star to pledge his
support to the Spice Girls world tour - he has offered to pilot their airplane.
The Grease star - a certified pilot - is desperate to fly the reformed
five-piece over the Atlantic when they kick off their tour in Canada on 2
December.
And the 53-year-old approves of the girl band's choice of transport - a
Boeing 707-138 airliner.
He says, "It sounds like an amazing plane. They don't do things by
halves.
"I've been flying since 1974 when I earned my wings. Every cent of
my paychecks went to flying lessons."
Hip-hop star Sean 'Diddy' Combs has donated a $8 million fleet of buses
to help transport Victoria Beckham, Geri Halliwell, Melanie Chisholm, Emma
Bunton and Melanie Brown around the globe.
