Sting Illness Holds Up Police Tour  10/11/07 

 

Pop veterans The Police have cancelled two concerts because front man STING is suffering "serious voice problems".

Performances in Antwerp, Belgium on Tuesday (09Oct07) and Mannheim, Germany on Wednesday (10Oct07) were axed by tour organizers.

A post on the singer's website reveals he has a throat infections and that doctors have "advised him to rest".

The gigs are part of a reunion world tour that kicked off in May (07), 21 years after the band's last major live performance.
