Teri Hatcher Criticizes Lack of Family Films 10/12/07
Actress Teri Hatcher has hit out at the movie industry for not making
enough family-friendly films.
The Desperate Housewives star is fed up with not being able to find suitable movies to watch at the cinema with her nine-year-old daughter Emerson Rose. She says, "I am one of those moms who is disgruntled with the film industry. "Every Friday, we think, 'Wouldn't it be great to go to the movies?' But you go down there, and 13 of the 14 films are PG-13 or R. "It's really difficult if you don't believe in super-speeding up your child's rearing." So Hatcher opts to watch television with Emerson instead. She adds, "My daughter and I watch cooking shows all the time."
