Pearl Harbor star Josh Hartnett is hoping to train with American football
team the
Tennessee Titans to prepare for a part in a news sporting movie.
The actor has landed the lead in the film adaptation of Don DeLillo's
book End Zone and he's hoping to call on advice from longtime neighbor
Matt Burke, the Titans' assistant coach.
Hartnett says, "I'm gonna go and hang out on the sidelines and see
what it's like."
But he insists he's not a complete novice when it comes to the
gridiron: "I played football when I was a kid but ended up tearing a
ligament and kind of quitting."
