Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling is loving her life of leisure now she has finished the final installment of the boy wizard franchise.

The writer has made a vast fortune from the series, and is enjoying sitting back, relaxing and planning her next project.

Rowling says, "Life after Harry Potter is great, I've got nothing to do at all.

"I kind of expected everyone to be wondering what I am going to be doing next, they all started speculating before I even finished the last book but to be honest I really don't know what's next for me."

But when asked about rumors of a possible new project in the pipeline, the 42-year-old adds, "I won't be writing an adult crime book though, that was all (author) Ian Rankin's idea."
