Julia Roberts put paid to tabloid reports she and husband Danny Moder are
going through a rough patch in their marriage by insisting she'd be lost
without the cameraman during an honor acceptance speech.
The Pretty Woman star was handed the 2007 American Cinematheque Award
at a star-studded gala in Los Angeles on Friday night (12Oct07) and used
the tribute to gush about her husband and three kids.
After peers and friends like Denzel Washington, Bruce Willis and Tom
Hanks paid tribute to the actress, Roberts said, "More than anything
I am just the most proud wife and mother to three of the most amazing
children."
She then had a special message for her husband of five years.
She cooed, "The widening of my life, and my hips, is really just
the true gift of my husband Danny, who I would be so lonely without."
The couple have been the subject of tabloid articles about the state of
their marriage ever since they wed on Roberts' New Mexico ranch in July
2002.
