Tara Reid Denies Hospital Liver Check-Up Reports  10/19/07 

 

Actress Tara Reid has dismissed reports she was hospitalized as a result of alcohol abuse earlier this month (Oct07).

The American Pie star was said to have checked into the Centinela Freeman Regional Medical Center in Marina Del Ray, California for a nine-day stay to undergo tests for liver damage.

The reformed Hollywood wild child was discharged at the weekend (13Oct07), according to U.S. reports

Doctors worked around the clock to diagnose the 31-year-old, who checked into the Marina Del Rey medical centre in a distressed state. They discovered she had elevated liver enzymes.

But Reid has denied the reports, insisting, "I'm fine."
