Simon Cowell Blasts Take That for Leona Lewis Battle  10/19/07 

 

Music mogul Simon Cowell has hit out at Take That for going head-to-head in the U.K. singles chart against Leona Lewis.

The reformed boy band release new single Rule The World on Monday (22Oct07) - the same week as the winner of British TV talent show The X Factor's comeback single, Bleeding Love.

And while Cowell insists he's confused by the group's decision, he is confident his protégé Lewis will triumph.

He says, "I don't know why they would do that. But Leona is world class and will do very, very well."
