British pop beauty Leona Lewis is set to have the year's fastest-selling
single in the U.K. with hit record Bleeding Love.
The X Factor winner's new single looks a dead cert to claim the U.K.
singles chart's number one spot this weekend (27/28Oct07), having shifted
66,000 copies by Monday (22Oct07) night.
At this rate she will beat the 150,000 units The Proclaimers' Comic
Relief single, (I'm Gonna Be) 500 Miles, sold in a week last March (07).
Lewis - who found fame on the British reality show and is now managed
by pop guru Simon Cowell - joins Take That, Sugababes, Britney Spears and
McFly in the midweek chart's top five.
