Alicia Keys Performs at the Pyramids 10/24/07
Alicia Keys was so awed by the Great Pyramids of Giza in Egypt, she
performed at the top of one.
The Fallin' singer went on "a pilgrimage" to Egypt last year (06) and admits the ancient landmarks - one of the seven wonders of the world - left a deep impact on her. She tells Complex magazine, "I looked at the Great Pyramids and I almost broke down... I crawled to the top of the pyramid and I just sang at the top of my lungs. "People walking in acted like I was crazy; I didn't care, it was so poignant for me."
