Britney Spears "frolicked" with country sweetheart Carrie Underwood's former football star boyfriend Tony Romo during a night out in Hollywood just hours after the latest hearing in her custody battle with ex-husband Kevin Federline on Friday (26Oct07).

Spears was spotted sitting on the Dallas Cowboys star's lap at Los Angeles hotspot Les Deux.

And DJ Ryan Seacrest was one of the bystanders who marveled at the new hook-up.

Speaking on his KIIS-FM radio show on Monday (29Oct07), American Idol host Seacrest told listeners, "I spoke to her for a minute. She seemed to be in a very, very good mood. She had her sunglasses on.

"I said, 'Busy day, huh?' She kind of smiled and laughed and said, 'Yeah.'

And then I believe I saw her and Tony Romo frolicking."

When asked by a co-host if Spears was sitting on Romo's lap, Seacrest replied, "Yeah."

Earlier on Friday, Spears and Federline both appeared at Los Angeles Superior Court to testify at the latest custody hearing over their two sons. No ruling has yet been issued.
