Australian pop star Kylie Minogue fears her life will never be the same
following her much-publicized battle with breast cancer - as she will
never again be 'normal'.
The singer insists her ordeal is never far from her mind, and her
triumph over the disease she will always be a big part of her day-to-day
existence.
Minogue, 39, who was diagnosed with the disease in 2005, credits her
ex-boyfriend Olivier Martinez and pal William Baker for helping her
through the hard times.
She says, "I am constantly being reminded of those experiences,
not only because people ask me about them, but also because they're a part
of my life.
"They're a part of the experiences that make up who I am. It would
be great if I could put all these experiences in a box and tie a ribbon
around it. But it's not as simple as that, much as I want to believe
everything is over. I learned that you never get back to a normal
state."
