Double Award Win For Kylie Minogue and Coldplay 10/2/08

Pop star Kylie Minogue and rockers Coldplay have triumphed at this year's (08) BT Digital Music Awards by scooping two gongs each.

The Australian singer walked away with Best Pop Artist at the ceremony in London on Wednesday (01Oct08), as well as Best Innovation for the Kylie Konnect website.

The Violet Hill hitmakers scooped the Best Rock/Indie Artist award and the Best Official Music Website accolade.

Radiohead were crowned band of the year and other winners included The Zutons for Best Video Podcast and Vampire Weekend for Best Breakthrough Artist.

A panel of experts chose seven award winners and the public voted online for the remaining 13 prizes.
