Vanessa Paradis Laughs Off Tame Johnny Depp Suggestions 10/13/08

Johnny Depp's girlfriend Vanessa Paradis is bemused by suggestions she's "tamed" the Hollywood star, insisting the balance in their relationship came about "naturally".

The couple has been together for 10 years and has two children together - but the French singer/actress is adamant she didn't set out to calm the wild ways of Depp's youth.

She tells Britain's Elle magazine, "Tamed. What's that? Like a lion? Nooo, no, we did it to each other. "Maybe I'm a good girlfriend because I'm his girlfriend. I'm not sure I'd be a good girlfriend to anyone else; the same for him. It's difficult to explain, but it's something that's natural, obvious and beautiful."

Depp had previously dated supermodel Kate Moss and actress Winona Ryder.
