Big
Brother Summary for September 1st 9/1/05

The
show opens with Julie revealing that this is another double eviction
night. The new HoH will have to nominate 2 people tonight, with another
eviction on Saturday.
Scenes
from the past week: We see James trying to talk Ivette into voting out
Howie. Ivette says that she is able to bond with James. She goes to Maggie
and the rest of her group and talks to them about keeping James. James has
a plan that if he can get Ivette and Beau to vote for Howie, then maybe he
can get Janelle to vote out Howie also. Janelle says she doesn't know
since Howie hasn't done well on the competitions maybe she should keep
James. James continues to work on Ivette.
Back
to live show: Janelle says the call to Michael meant so much to her and
she thanks the viewers for letting her have the phone call. Julie asks 3
of the HG's questions from the viewers. She asks Maggie how she has lost
so much weight. She says that she is working out a lot and that she owes
it to the people in the house also. Julie then asks Ivette if she won HoH,
what would she want most in the HoH room. She says a picture of her
girlfriend. Julie then asks Beau after living in the house, who would the
worst permanent roommate. He says Janelle because she leaves clothes all
over the house.
We
go to April's family and friends. Her friends think she needs to be less
vocal with her feelings. Her husband says that at first Howie seemed like
a funny guy, but now he doesn't like him for the way he treated April. He
thinks April is doing great in the game and has a good chance to be there
at the end. Julie interviews April next. April just wanted to come into
the game and play under the radar. But the minute she felt she had to step
it up, she did with the HoH competition and the Veto competition. She says
she is in an alliance with Maggie now.
We
go to the jury house now and see how Jennifer and Rachel are doing. She
says that Rachel is the one person she would like to see the least because
she is boring. Of course, she hugs Rachel when she shows up and acts
excited to her. She takes Rachel for a tour of the house and they watch
the events from the past week. She tells Rachel she knows her group and is
happy with Rachel being voted out.
The
vote will be live. All of the HG's vote for James so by a vote of 4-0,
James is evicted from the BB house. Julie asks James how he survived all
these weeks. He says that they screwed up so bad and didn't get him out.
She asks James if he would have stayed true to the first alliance with the
6. He says definitely. James says that he will stay friends with Ivette
out of the house because she is an amazing person.
The
HoH competition is called Playing It Straight. Each HG will have 2 chances
to roll the ball down the beam. There are different point values on the
beam. Maggie goes first and gets 2 points, then 5 for a total of 7. Then
Beau gets 5 with his first roll, then 6 points with his second roll, for a
total of 11. Ivette gets 5 on her first roll, and 4 for her second roll,
for a total of 9. Janelle gets 6 points on her first roll and 2 on her
second roll. Howie goes last. He gets 6 points for his first and second
roll, for a total of 12. Howie is the new HoH!
The
HG's are then told that it is a double eviction night. Howie is then told
he must nominate 2 HG's immediately. He nominates Ivette and Beau. Julie
says a surprise visitor will stop by on the Saturday's show.
