Johnny Depp Gets a Hand Double to Make Captain Jack More Rugged  9/11/05

The producers of the Pirates of the Caribbean sequel have been forced to hire a hand double for Johnny Depp - because the actor takes such good care of his skin.

According to insiders on the set, the movie star's hands look too delicate and so a more rugged man has been called in for close-ups, so that Captain Jack Sparrow looks like an old sea-dog at all times.

A source says, "Johnny has very feminine hands with long, slender fingers.
