Dannii and Kylie Minogue Tackled Salman Rushdie at Scrabble  9/13/05

Australian pop singer siblings Kylie and Danni Minogue both have a secret talent - they are experts at word-based board game Scrabble.

The pair regularly play at the home of writer pal Kathy Lette, and frequently give her intellectual novelist pal Salman Rushdie a run for his money.

Rushdie reveals, "The three of us played together. Did I win? Of course I did. Kylie came second. She is one of those people who knows all the three and four letter words - a crucial talent."

Lette reveals Rushdie's more embarrassing defeat at the hands of Dannii: "He was here playing very recently, and he did lose to Kylie's sister Dannii."
