Threshold Premiere Draws Strong Ratings  9/19/05

CBS'S TWO-HOUR "THRESHOLD" PREMIERE IS FRIDAY'S MOST WATCHED PROGRAM AND HIGHEST RATED IN ADULTS 18-49 AND ADULTS 25-54

"Threshold" Posts Double Digit Increases in Key Demographics Versus Premiere Friday Last Year

CBS's two-hour premiere of THRESHOLD was Friday's most watched program and highest rated in adults 18-49 and adults 25-54, according to final Nielsen ratings for Sept. 16.

THRESHOLD (9:00-11:00 PM) was first in adults 25-54 (3.8/11), adults 18-49 (2.9/09), second in households (5.5/10), viewers (8.61m) and adults 18-34 (1.7/06, -0.1 behind NBC). THRESHOLD was the night's most watched program, top rated in adults 18-49 and adults 25-54.

Compared to the Friday 9:00-11:00 PM premieres last year (on 9/24/05), THRESHOLD was up +23% in adults 25-54 (from 3.1/08), +32% in adults 18-49 (from 2.2/07) and +21% in adults 18-34 (from 1.4/05).
