Gwen Stefani Stitches Lamb Dress  9/19/05

Gwen Stefani was so intent on achieving perfection with the first catwalk show for her new fashion line Lamb on Friday (16SEP05), she sewed the finishing touches to one of the dresses herself.

The What You Waiting For singer, 35, worked tirelessly for a month to perfect all of the details for the show at Fashion Week in New York City, shutting out any idea that she's just another celebrity figurehead who isn't personally involved in her line.

She says, "I'm very, very hands-on. I sewed the rhinestones on the wedding dress today. It's my passion, and every bit of the collection starts here."
