Reality TV superstar Toni Ferrari announced today that she is currently shopping her very own semi-scripted television series. The show, currently being considered by major network executives, is titled I’M REALLY AN ACTRESS!

LOS ANGELES, CA, Sept. 20, 2005 - Toni Ferrari announced today that she is currently shopping her very own television series. The show currently being pitched to network executives is titled I’M REALLY AN ACTRESS! The new series will follow the trials and tribulations of a notorious reality star who is a legitimate actress trying to make it in Hollywood. I’M REALLY AN ACTRESS! is a semi-scripted blurred takeoff on Toni Ferrari’s real life after appearing on five reality shows. This innovative series will take scripted comedy and collide it with reality television for a ground-breaking new format that infuses Toni’s real life with a scripted dream existence.

The sensational Toni Ferrari shocked audiences with her "in-your-face" style, which was bolstered by the editing and manipulation techniques of producers. Ferrari, currently seen on E!’s KILL REALITY series and in Creative Light’s soon-to-be released horror flick THE SCORNED (Premiering in October on E!) is most known as the breakout star of FOX reality shows LOVE CRUISE and PARADISE HOTEL. All three series continue to air around the globe to enormous fanfare. In addition, Toni has also appeared on BLOW OUT and BLIND DATE.

Ferrari’s I’M REALLY AN ACTRESS! is currently being reviewed by several major-league studios and production companies. The show’s premise will play on the positive and negative experiences Toni has gone through during her rapid rise to reality show stardom. The series follows Toni through a spectrum of obstacles from extreme situations with adoring fans, irate show viewers and entertainment industry executives to friends and loving family. The scripted sit-com portion of the series will be Toni’s fantasy life acted out in the style of reality drama. The true reality scenes will include improvisation and the real life encounters caught on tape. “It’s the best of both worlds! I’M REALLY AN ACTRESS! is the deconstruction of the reality show and the reality star.” states Toni’s creative producing partner Jim Strzalkowski. “Some in the industry are calling this new type of format a 'hybrid.' I prefer the term ‘reality-com’” says Strzalkowski who previously worked on the Tom Green Show for MTV and held positions in marketing and sales at Paramount Pictures and MGM Worldwide Television.

The series will feature guest star spots for current reality television stars plus an ensemble cast of strong well-known comedic actors. “This show will get wild. Is it reality or is it a dream? It will be hard to tell at times. Anything can happen and it will. I can’t wait to start taping!” exclaims Ferrari. She also adds “The pilot script is over-the-top funny! I believe anyone who loves reality and old school comedy will be captivated by our show.”
