Kirstie Alley's Weight Loss Jeopardizes Future of Fat Actress  9/21/05

Former Cheers star Kirstie Alley has a found a negative aspect to her recent weight loss - it's jeopardised her chances of returning to her show Fat Actress for a second season. 

Alley poked fun at her increased girth in the comedy series, which debuted in the US with much fanfare earlier this year (05) but failed to attract a large audience. But as her new show was announced, Alley become the spokesperson for diet company Jenny Craig and has recently announced that she's lost 23 kilograms (50 pounds) - and her smaller frame makes her role in Fat Actress less suitable. 

She says, "I think (the bosses at Showtime) have great concerns about me not being fat."
