Lost's Jorge Garcia Wants a Love Interest  9/22/05

Lost star Jorge Garcia is urging his fans to join an online petition to get his TV show character a love interest.

The portly actor plays Hugu "Hurley" Reyes on the hit series, and he agrees with a group of his hardcore fans, who are trying to get Lost bosses to give his character a little romance.

He says, "So far I haven't gotten any solid raunch. I'm more like the cuddly guy on the show.

"There's a petition for Hurley to get some lovin' on the island, but the number of signatures has been pretty low. For a while I pleaded with fans, 'Come on, can we at least break 200?'"

FASCINATING FACT: Lost star Jorge Garcia was a high school wrestler who was nicknamed 'Baby-faced Killer' by his classmates.
