American soul singer John Legend is desperate to collaborate with R&B beauty Beyonce Knowles.

The 26-year-old star - who scooped Best R&B Act at the Music Of Black Origin (MOBO) Awards last week (22SEP05) - is eager to duet with the Destiny's Child singer on his forthcoming album.

He says, "I think I have to do something with Beyonce. She's so talented and gifted - she's an amazing person.

"JAY-Z's one of my very good friends. Those two are great together - they're the king and queen of the music scene right now."
