Lost Star Almost Ditched Acting  9/27/05

Lost star Josh Holloway, who plays James "Sawyer" Ford almost gave up his acting career to become an estate agent.

The actor wanted to propose to long-term girlfriend Yessica, but feared he'd never be able to support her unless he took a regular job.

Holloway - now happily married - says, "I was ready to marry my girl, or at least ask her, but I didn't think I had anything to bring to the table.

I couldn't do it until then - it's just the way I was raised I guess."
