Renee Zellweger's Heartbreak  9/28/05

Renee Zellweger is convinced she has suffered more heartbreak than her luckless-in-love character Bridget Jones. The 36-year-old, who recently filed papers to annul her whirlwind marriage to country singer Kenny Chesney, always feels devastated when her romances come to an end. 

She admits, "I've had my heart broken. God, yes! I've had my bag-of-chips-on-the-couch-alone nights." But the stunning actress believes her lowest point came when she discovered a former boyfriend had committed suicide in 1995. She says, "It came at a time when I was at a crossroads in my life, and there was not a lot of light." 

Since then Zellweger, who has dated Jim Carrey and The White Stripes singer Jack White, has preferred dating celebrity men who are better able to comprehend the pressures of Hollywood. She insists, "Only someone in this business understands my weird life."
