Renee Zellweger to Team With Tom Cruise and Ewan McGregor  9/30/05

Renee Zellweger is set to reteam with her film co-stars Tom Cruise and Ewan McGregor in a new thriller, where her character will have the ability to see ghosts.

The Oscar-winning actress has signed up to appear in The Eye, in which a blind heroine receives a cornea transplant that even allows her to see ghosts - not all of them friendly.

Cruise, who starred alongside Zellweger in Jerry MaGuire, is producing the remake with his film-company partner Paula Wagner.

McGregor, who teamed onscreen with Zellweger for the comedy Down With Love, is in talks to co-star.

The actress, who recently split from her husband Kenny Chesney, will serve as the film's executive producer.

A production start date has yet to be announced.
