Pop superstar Christina Aguilera almost had a disastrous wedding day after her stylist forgot to bring her wedding veil.

The Genie in a Bottle star married marketing executive Jordan Bratman in a California ceremony last year (05).

The singer admits she was furious when her stylist misplaced the essential wedding accessory and promptly fired her for the lapse, vowing never to work with her again.

Aguilera says, "At my wedding, I said 'Let's put the veil on' and it wasn't there. It was an oversight of my stylist, who I will never work with again.

"Thank God I had my mom's lace wedding piece so we made a makeshift veil."
