Sandra Bullock: "It's True Love With Jesse"  9/20/06

Sandra Bullock knows she's found true love with husband Jesse James, because she had vowed never to wed before she met him.

The Crash beauty married Monster Garage host James in July last year (05), and is amazed not to miss the freedom she always valued as a singleton.

Bullock says, "I was the person who was never going to get married, and... well... look at me now! I can't believe I've managed to find someone I want to settle down with.

"I just didn't see the point of marriage. I didn't see a lot of great examples in the couples I knew. In fact marriage, to me, seemed like a ball and chain attached to your neck.

"I was enjoying my single life. I liked having my options... let's say I was being a serial monogamist!

"The fact is, I wasn't ready to be a great partner. I felt I wasn't seasoned enough to be a good wife, so I figured, why do it, if you're not going to do it properly?"
