Madonna: Horse Riding Fall Made Me Appreciate Life  9/26/06

Pop queen Madonna insists her horse-riding accident last year (05) was a positive experience, because it made her aware of how precious life is.

The fall saw the Ray of Light star break her collarbone, ribs and her hand - but she was immediately philosophical about the frightening incident.

She says, "It was a wake-up call to appreciate my life, to be more grateful for what I have.

"It reaffirms my continued aspirations to learn and do as much as I can while on this earth."
