BREE SAYS "I DO" IN A FAIRY TALE WEDDING, AND EDIE GETS AN UNEXPECTED HOUSEGUEST, ON ABC'S "DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES"

"It Takes Two" - Susan and Ian have their first official date while their respective lovers remain in comas, and Xaio-Mei, the surrogate mother of Gaby and Carlos' baby, delivers the long awaited bundle of joy, on "Desperate Housewives," SUNDAY, DECEMBER 17 (10:00-11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network. "Desperate Housewives" stars Teri Hatcher as Susan Mayer, Felicity Huffman as Lynette Scavo, Marcia Cross as Bree Van De Kamp, Eva Longoria as Gabrielle Solis, Nicollette Sheridan as Edie Britt, Brenda Strong as Mary Alice Young, James Denton as Mike Delfino, Doug Savant as Tom Scavo, Ricardo Antonio Chavira as Carlos Solis, Andrea Bowen as Julie Mayer, Shawn Pyfrom as Andrew Van De Kamp, Joy Lauren as Danielle Van De Kamp, Josh Henderson as Austin Britt, Rachel Fox as Kayla Huntington and Brent and Shane Kinsman as Porter and Preston Scavo.

Guest starring in "It Takes Two" are Laurie Metcalf as Carolyn Bigsby, Dougray Scott as Ian Kavanaugh, Kiersten Warren as Nora, Gwendoline Yeo as Xiao-Mei, Kathryn Joosten as Mrs. McCluskey, Valerie Mahaffey as Alma Hodge, Ernie Hudson as Detective Ridley, Dakin Matthews as Reverend Sikes, Peter Jason as Jeff, Mary Margaret Lewis as Renee, Fiona Hale as Aunt Fern, Michael Yavnieli as bartender, Jim Jansen as clinic doctor, Rick Fitts as the coroner, Dougland Park as the doctor, Martin Grey as the mediator and Jason-Shane Scott as the waiter.

"It Takes Two" was written by Kevin Murphy and Jenna Bans and directed by David Grossman.

"Desperate Housewives" is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC's selected HDTV format, with 5.1-channel surround sound and Spanish audio via SAP.

A TV parental guideline will be assigned closer to airdate.
