Kylie Minogue Reassures Fans  9/29/06

Kylie Minogue has reassured fans she isn't overdoing things since her return to the limelight after successfully battling breast cancer.

The Spinning Around singer was forced to postpone the Antipodean leg of her Showgirl world tour in May 2005 when she was diagnosed with the disease.

Minogue returned to the public eye in the summer (06) with a short haircut after losing her long locks from chemotherapy and is preparing for her stage return in November (06).

She says, "I'm sure I'm going to look back on this period and go, 'How on earth did I do that?'

"I'm not a year out of recovery and I'm recording and doing photo shoots and we've filmed new stuff for the screens for the show. I've hardly stopped.

"Not to panic people that I'm overdoing it, but I've been doing quite a lot. I'm trying to build up my strength."

Minogue's reworked Showgirl tour, which resumes in Sydney, will be less frantic than her previous tour dates and will allow her rests in between gigs.

She explains, "There's certain things I can't do but I don't think that will make it less of a show, it will be more of a show."
