On his twenty-first birthday, Sam Oliver (Bret Harrison, "The Loop," "Grounded For Life") discovers his parents sold his soul to the devil (Ray Wise, "24," "Twin Peaks") before he was born, and he must now serve as the devil's personal bounty hunter, catching escaped souls and sending them back to Hell. A freaked-out Sam turns to his friends Sock (Tyler Labine, "Invasion") and Ben (Rick Gonzalez, "Illegal Tender," "Coach Carter") for help and the three slackers, whose previous excitement consisted of long nights at their job at The Work Bench, decide to embrace this new destiny and set off in pursuit of their first escaped soul, an arsonist who has returned in the form of a fireman. 

In between fighting the demon, Sam contemplates asking his co-worker and longtime friend Andi (Missy Peregrym, "Heroes") on a date. Valarie Rae Miller, Donavan Stinson and Andrew Airlie also star. Kevin Smith directed the pilot written by executive producers Tara Butters and Michele Fazekas
