Wrestling icon Hulk Hogan's teenage son has been fined $1,000 after
pleading guilty to driving almost double the speed limit in a construction
zone.
Nick Bollea, 17, was spotted speeding by a Florida police officer on 10
August (07).
During a court hearing in Clearwater, Florida on Monday (24Sep07),
Judge William Overton ordered Bollea to complete a 12-hour driver
improvement course within 90 days and fined him an additional $73.50 for
not wearing a seatbelt.
Just over two weeks after the incident, Bollea lost control of his
father's Toyota Supra on a Clearwater highway. According to police, the
vehicle flipped at high speed and collided with a palm tree.
The teen and his passenger, John Graziano, were air-lifted to a nearby
hospital. Hogan's son was released a few days later. His pal is still
fighting for his life.
