Madonna Keeps Ritchie Waiting At Film Premiere 9/2/08

Guy Ritchie was flustered at the premiere of his latest movie RocknRolla after his superstar wife Madonna left him waiting on the red carpet for over an hour.

The British moviemaker was left to greet fans by himself at the red carpet event at London's Leicester Square on Monday (01Sep08) night after the singer failed to make the premiere on time.

The Material Girl star, who is currently touring with her Sticky & Sweet show, had rushed back from Switzerland to put on a united front with her husband of eight years.

The pair have recently been dogged by rumors of a potential split, which they have both vehemently denied.

However, Ritchie was seemingly left infuriated by Madonna's tardiness.

He tells Britain's Mirror newspaper, "She told me she was half an hour away. She better had be otherwise I am going to be really embarrassed.

"Whatever happens, she'll be late. Take her time and double it."

Madonna finally arrived at the event to pose for the waiting paparazzi before hastily retreating to the watch the film's premiere.
