Eva Mendes Seeks Out Therapist For Fame Game Help 9/6/08

Eva Mendes has sought out a therapist to help her deal with fame.

The sexy actress, who checked into rehab for undisclosed reasons earlier this year (08), admits therapy has helped her become a better star - and a more charitable one.

She tells Eonline.com, "Up until recently, I was really uncomfortable with having success and enjoying it. I just couldn't deal with that: 'How can I have so much? It's not fair. How can the world have so little?'

"I allowed it to mess with me in the sense that I just didn't know how to handle it.

"I've really broken it down to this simple thing: I deal with everything by giving it away. It's genius. It works."

The 34-year-old actress recently gave away a brand new pair of Cartier sunglasses to an elderly friend, and insisted she felt great afterwards.

She adds, "I said, 'You need to have them. They look really good on you.'"
