Hilary Swank At Home After Operation 9/18/08

Oscar winner Hilary Swank is recovering at home after a minor procedure to have a small growth removed.

The actress was "experiencing some discomfort and went to see her doctor, who prescribed an immediate course of action which included a brief hospitalization to remove a small, benign growth," according to her manager, Jason Weinberg.

Weinberg also confirmed Swank's treatment was a success.

He adds, "Her condition has been resolved and there are no continuing health issues, with the exception of some short-term rest and recuperation."
