About Oprah Winfrey
Oprah Winfrey was born January 29, 1954 in Kosciusko, Mississippi. Graduated from East Nashville High School in Nashville, Tennessee in 1971 and then from Tennessee State University, with degrees in speech communications and performing arts. In addition to her talk show, Oprah has appeared in films such as The Color Purple and Beloved.
